Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is seeking a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Technician. You will administer hyperbaric therapy under the direction of clinical leadership and monitor patients before, during, and after treatments in a high‑safety environment.

The role requires a registered Paramedic/EMT or related allied health professional credential with a preference for Board Certification in Hyperbaric Medicine. Full‑time schedule with 40 hours weekly at our Grosse Pointe site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a registered Paramedic, EMT, Respiratory Therapist, Military Corpsman, or other allied health professional as indicated by the NBDHMT.
• Required or preferred board certification in Hyperbaric Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy under the direction of the Hyperbaric Technical Director, physician, and technologists.
• Performs duties under the physiologic stresses of the hyperbaric environment.
• The technician monitors patients before, during and after hyperbaric therapy, and is responsible for the safe operation of the hyperbaric chamber.
• Assists in the delivery of patient care.

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280‑bed acute care campus located in the heart of Grosse Pointe. Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. The hospital is also home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading‑edge hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements, and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches.

Scope of Work

• CRT‑Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA, upon hire required or
• CRT‑Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC, upon hire required or
• CRT‑Hyperbaric Technologist, Certified (CHT) – NBDHMT, upon hire preferred
