Baptist Health System is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients at Northeast Baptist Hospital. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an introductory hyperbaric training course within 90 days of hire, plus 1 year of relevant experience.
Active Basic Life Support is required on hire or within 60 days, and a valid certification/licensure in a related medical field is expected. Wound care or acute care experience is preferred.

The Hyperbaric Tech administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients.
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development); Must complete Introductory Hyperbaric Training Course as approved by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology within 90 days of hire.
1 year experience as a hyperbaric technician.
Wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and/or experience in emergency medicine or acute care hospital strongly preferred.
Must be certified and/or licensed in one of the following vocations or hold a diploma from an accredited institution in one of the following professions to meet the minimum education and experience requirements: Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT), Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS), Certified Hyperbaric and Wound Care Specialist (CHWS), Documented Hyperbaric Medicine Training, Respiratory Therapist; Physician’s Assistant; EMT or Paramedic; Military Corpsman; Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse; Nurse Practitioner; Physician or Physiologist; Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician
Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
