Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a qualified Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator to oversee daily operation and safety of our hyperbaric chambers. You will train nursing and technical staff, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain equipment.

The role requires an NBDHMT introductory hyperbaric medicine course and at least two years of monoplace chamber experience, plus flexibility with hours and strong communication and team-building skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of an NBDHMT recognized introductory hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent military training.
• Two or more years of experience in the operation and maintenance of monoplace hyperbaric chambers.
• Flexibility with hours and basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively, problem solving, verbal and written communication and team building.
• Knowledge of standards and codes related to hyperbaric facilities and U.S. Navy Diving Manuals.
• Preferred: Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.
• Provide oversight for hyperbaric operations ensuring patient safety and chamber safety.
• Provide hyperbaric training to nursing and technical personnel on safe chamber operations, maintenance procedures and safety processes.
