Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator to manage daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment. The role ensures patient safety and safe chamber operations while providing training to nursing and technical staff.

The candidate will have an NBDHMT introductory hyperbaric course and 2+ years in monoplace chamber operations, with preferred leadership experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an NBDHMT recognized introductory hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent military training.
• Two or more years of experience in the operation and maintenance of monoplace hyperbaric chambers.
• Knowledge of standards and codes related to hyperbaric facilities and U.S. Navy Diving Manuals.
• Leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.
• Provide oversight for hyperbaric operations ensuring patient safety and chamber safety.
• Train nursing and technical staff in safe hyperbaric chamber operations, maintenance procedures and safety processes.
