Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a reliable Hydrovac Operator to join our on-site crew in the Las Vegas area. You will operate hydro excavation trucks, expose utilities, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role also involves supervising Hydrovac Laborers, setting up grounding procedures, completing required paperwork promptly, and contributing to project planning.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hydro excavation equipment or similar heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and utility exposure procedures.
• Ability to read maps/prints and plan excavation work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavations including utility line exposure and trenching.
• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Supervise Hydrovac Laborers to ensure skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for operation.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Conduct daily vacuum excavation tasks as required.
• Expose existing underground utilities for HDD work and placement.
