Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to perform hydro excavation tasks and expose underground utilities. The role requires operating heavy Hydrovac equipment safely, completing maintenance, and ensuring quality work.

The operator will handle pre/post-trip inspections, document security checks, and assist in setting up grounding procedures. A CDL-A with endorsements and a clean MVR are required, with background checks and drug screening part of the process.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training.
• Candidates must pass background checks and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Expose underground utilities and assist with potholing for HDD work.
• Assist in setting up grounding/bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
• Supervise Hydrovac Laborers to support skill development.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
