Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to run hydro excavation equipment, expose utilities, and perform trenching and digging tasks with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. You will operate heavy Hydrovac trucks, complete daily paperwork, and perform routine inspections.

The role requires a Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement and at least 1 year of related experience or training.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement.
• At least 1 year related experience or training in hydro excavation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Complete required paperwork within set time lines.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
• Expose underground utilities and assist with trenching and excavation tasks.
• Assist in supervising Hydrovac Laborers to develop skills.
• Maintain awareness of safety and regulatory requirements.
