Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural Engineer to support the Hydropower Practice in the Southeast, based in Charlotte, NC. You will review structural documents, develop designs, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams through project phases to meet code and client needs.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, a PE license, and experience with structural analysis software such as AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, or STAAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the local licensing board.
Previous structural engineer experience.
Experience with structural analysis software (AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, STAAD, SAFE or similar).

Responsibilities

Review structural documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
Write and edit structural specifications and perform calculations.
