Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in the United States seeks a Risk Manager to oversee the risk profile of all commercial deals within the Hydropower business.

You will ensure tenders are underwritten to GEV standards and coordinate with commercial leaders to identify and mitigate risks throughout the tender process. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, finance, and project teams, lead Risk Review gates, and leverage project experience to continuously improve risk analyses during offers.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years of experience in risk management or EPC project risk.
• Experience in managing complex EPC projects and/or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with commercial leaders and functional experts to analyze and mitigate risk for each tender.
• Validate risk and reward balance for each tender (terms, technical, finance, schedule).
• Lead the Hydropower risk process and ensure compliance with GE Vernova policies and underwriting strategies.
• Chair Risk Review gates of the ITO process (R2, HRB, R3, etc.).
• Leverage project execution experience and best practices to maintain high risk control at tender stage.
