Biltmore Workforce Management is seeking a Field to Table Staff II to support hydroponic greenhouse production for Biltmore’s culinary teams.

The role involves sowing and caring for lettuces, herbs, flowers and microgreens, monitoring crops, harvesting and packaging, and ensuring food safety guidelines are followed. You will interact with leadership, F&B teams, guests, and fans in a professional manner.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required; additional education, training or certification preferred; must be able to obtain NC pesticide applicator's license.
• One year of related experience; combination of education/experience considered.
• Experience in vegetable/fruit production and hydroponic production techniques preferred.
• Identify signs of disease and plant stress; recognize functionality issues in hydroponic systems.
• MS Office suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook) experience.
• Commitment to delivering world-class guest service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; professional with internal/external guests.
• Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills; adaptable.
• Proactive with good judgment; troubleshoots and solves problems.

Aufgaben

• Sow and plant lettuces, herbs, flowers and micro greens.
• Monitor crops for water needs, nutrients, pests and diseases.
• Harvest and package crops ensuring premium quality.
• Follow all food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Deliver crops timely in premium condition.
• Assist team members, customers and guests courteously and professionally.
• Collect monthly water samples and prepare for lab shipment.
• Enter lab results into Nutrient Calculator Spreadsheet.
• Dose raceways per NC recommendations.
• Inventory nutrients for ordering.
