Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Field to Table Staff II to assist with hydroponic crop production for culinary teams. You will closely coordinate with program leadership and F&B to determine needs, yield, and production timelines and costs.

The role requires high school diploma, 1 year of related experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; NC pesticide license may be required/recommended. Schedule generally 8:30am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education/certifications preferred; pesticide license may be required.
• One year related experience; vegetable/fruit production a plus.
• Identify disease/stress signs in plants.
• Recognize functionality issues in hydroponic systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Access/Word/Outlook).
• Strong guest-service mindset and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Sow/plant lettuces, herbs, flowers, and micro greens.
• Monitor water needs, nutrients, pests, and diseases.
• Harvest and package crops ensuring quality.
• Adhere to Food Safety guidelines.
• Deliver crops on time in premium condition.
• Assist team, guests, and customers courteously.
• Collect monthly water samples and prep for lab shipment.
• Enter lab results into Nutrient Calculator.
