The Biltmore Company is seeking a Part-time Field to Table Staff II to support hydroponic crop production for culinary teams. You will work with leadership and Food & Beverage to plan needs, yields, and timing while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include sowing, monitoring, harvesting, and delivering crops, with strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and guest service. Schedule typically 8:30am–4:30pm.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required; additional education/training preferred.
• 1 year of related experience required; combination considered.
• Experience in vegetable/fruit production and hydroponic techniques is a plus.
• Ability to identify signs of disease and plant stress.
• Recognizes issues in hydroponic systems; proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills; professional in demeanor.
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proactive with good judgment; able to troubleshoot problems.

Responsabilidades

• Sow and plant lettuces, herbs, flowers, and microgreens.
• Monitor crops for water needs, nutrients, pests, and diseases.
• Harvest and package crops in premium condition.
• Comply with all Food Safety requirements and guidelines.
• Deliver crops timely and in peak quality.
• Assist team members, customers, and guests professionally.
• Collect monthly water samples and prep for lab shipment.
• Enter lab results into Nutrient Calculator Spreadsheet.
• Dose raceways per NC recommendations; manage nutrient inventories.
• Support others and adapt to changing priorities.
