Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc is seeking a Hydrologist III or Engineer III with 2-5 years of experience for our Water discipline in one of our New England offices. The role focuses on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, urban stormwater, and green infrastructure.

You will model watersheds and rivers, prepare LOMR applications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency with HydroCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and PCSWMM is expected, along with GIS analyses.

Formación

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• MS is a plus and EIT is preferred.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling is required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct analyses of surface water systems including watersheds, rivers, and lakes.
• Model and support design of stormwater BMPs, green infrastructure, and LID projects.
• Prepare Letter of Map Revision applications.
• Become proficient with HydroCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and PCSWMM.
• Communicate results to a multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare written and verbal summaries for technical and lay audiences.
• Perform field work to collect measurements for model development.
• Travel to client meetings and project sites within New England and beyond.
