Job summary

Weston & Sampson seeks a geologist/hydrogeologist with 4–8+ years of experience to join the Water Discipline in our Rocky Hill, CT office.

You will conduct hydrogeologic investigations, supervise pumping tests, collect water-quality samples, and oversee field operations with a collaborative team. Proficiency in GIS and data management is required, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology or water resources related field (M.S. preferred).
• 4 to 8+ years of experience in geology/hydrogeology or water resources.
• Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office essential.
• Ability to perform field work across varied site settings and environments.
• Knowledge of CTDPH, CTDEEP and NYSDEC water withdrawal permitting is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
