Job summary

Plug Power Inc. seeks a Commissioning & Maintenance Specialist to perform commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on hydrogen infrastructure, electrolyzers, and stationary equipment at multiple customer sites.

This role requires extensive travel (up to 100%), strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interact with customers and vendors professionally. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electrical/industrial/mechanical maintenance and an associate or vocational

Qualifications

Three or more years in construction, repair or maintenance in electrical/industrial/mechanical field.
Associates degree or vocational training preferred; or 2 extra years of related experience.
Ability to travel up to 100% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to commission, troubleshoot, repair and test Plug Power products.
Lead high level service repairs on hydrogen infrastructure and related equipment.
Provide training to customers and field personnel on troubleshooting and maintenance.
Support commissioning and ongoing operation of industrial hydrogen systems.
Interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs, perform pressure tests per standards.
Document system test results and close out project tasks.
