Job summary

Plug Power is looking for a Commissioning & Maintenance Specialist to service hydrogen infrastructure, electrolyzers, and stationary equipment at customer sites across the United States. This remote-in-US role entails up to 100% travel and on-call duties to keep hydrogen production online.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical/industrial/mechanical maintenance, an associate degree or equivalent, strong communication, and proficiency with schematics and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction, repair or maintenance in electrical/industrial/mechanical fields.
• Associate/technical degree preferred; or 2 extra years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel up to 100% as required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test and commission Plug Power products.
• Lead high-level service repairs on hydrogen infrastructure including tanks and vacuum lines.
• Train customers and Plug service personnel on troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support commissioning and operation of industrial hydrogen infrastructure including piping and tests.
• Read schematics, perform point-to-point testing, and document results.
