Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Service Specialist - H2 to provide after-market service and support for GenFuel hydrogen infrastructure at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain H2 systems, and train field technicians while representing Plug Power in the field.

The role emphasizes safety, customer interaction, and technical leadership across electro-mechanical hydrogen systems. This is a on-site, travel-heavy field position offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational degree in engineering, electronics, pressurized systems, or related field.
• 3+ years experience is acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Ability to travel up to 100% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Survey hydrogen infrastructure at customer sites.
• Maintain and service H2 systems on-site.
• Remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and guidance to support personnel.
• Train and supervise technicians on H2 maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provide customer training on H2 systems.
• Troubleshoot high‑pressure hydrogen storage, delivery and fueling systems.
• Maintain safety procedures and field communications.
• Complete admin duties and documentation.
