Job summary

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support a large multi-purpose project, including powerhouse, spillway, fish facility, navigation lock, and recreation-related equipment.

The role guides reliability and maintainability of equipment and systems, defines PM/PdM processes, and provides technical assistance on materials and spare parts, coordinating with contractors to avoid schedule slips and maintain safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required, ABET-accredited program preferred.
  • Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance planning and analysis.
  • Ability to coordinate contractor work andCOR communications to ensure progress and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical maintenance for a large multi-purpose project including powerhouse, spillway, fish facility, navigation lock, and recreation-related equipment.
  • Develop and monitor the preventive/predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) process across equipment and facilities.
  • Provide technical assistance to supervisors and craft foremen in material selection, equipment and spare parts replacement with original equipment or field repairs.
  • Coordinate contractor work with project activities to prevent schedule slips and ensure safety and reliability.
