Job summary

Grant County PUD is seeking engineers at multiple levels to join its Maintenance Engineering Group. The role provides electrical engineering support for hydro facilities, including asset management, PM/Job Plan standards, and outage review.

You will assist with turnover materials for manuals and SOPs, and ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, NEC, PRC-005 and related regulations. Positions span Engineer I–V with growing responsibilities across high/medium/low impedance equipment, transformers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Valid State driver’s license with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for low-impact equipment and oversee maintenance activities.
• Support troubleshooting during outages and routine maintenance.
• Review outage work and schedules to ensure PMs are adhered to.
• Assist with asset management, PM/Job Plan standards, and turnover materials for manuals and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, NEC, PRC-005 and other regulatory requirements.
