Job summary

Eagle Creek Hydro Operations, LLC seeks a Maintenance Operator to support the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric powerhouse and dam equipment, following plant procedures and safety regulations. You will work with skilled teams, direct others when qualified, and perform tasks across mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, performing inspections, training staff, maintaining records, and following LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in operation and maintenance of hydroelectric equipment.
• Proficient with mechanical and hydraulic systems and basic fabrication.
• Ability to perform basic welding/cutting/fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of lifting and rigging procedures.
• Comfort with rotating schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct and perform duties required in the operation of the powerhouse and dam according to operating orders.
• Direct and perform duties to place equipment in service and release equipment for maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using test instruments and diagnose faults.
• Conduct inspection tours of powerhouse and dam facilities.
• Instruct/train employees in operations and assist with safety and efficiency.
• Identify causes of abnormal operating conditions and take corrective actions.
• Repair mechanical equipment and assist with electrical equipment repairs.
• Maintain shift records and use company email.
• Perform and assist with developing LOTO procedures.
