Brookfield Renewable U.S. is seeking an Outage Supervisor in Queensbury, NY or Potsdam, NY. You will plan and supervise turbine maintenance, engineer replacement parts, and lead project teams across NY with up to 50% travel.

Strong mechanical skills and leadership are essential for continuous availability of hydro assets. The role requires an Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, plus 3 years of project leadership experience and familiarity with OSHA and field

Competenze

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in project management or team leadership (3 years preferred).
• Experience in power generation; hydro experience preferred.
• Demonstrated safe work habits and OSHA knowledge.
• Rigging, craning, confined space, working at height and electrical best practices.

Mansioni

• Coordinate unit outage planning with field Supervisors and forecast energy production.
• Establish and plan projects and schedules; prepare specs and sketches for parts.
• Troubleshoot and analyze failures to avoid repeats; develop PM procedures.
• Support emergency repairs and train staff; be on-call as needed.
• Maintain progress reports, budgets, and milestones; ensure safety and compliance.
