Job summary

Brookfield Renewable U.S. in Fayetteville, WV seeks a Repower Outage Supervisor to lead maintenance and capital projects on hydro turbines. You will develop work scopes, supervise crews and coordinate with regional teams to ensure safe, on-time execution.

This role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, strong project management, and experience with outages, QA/QC, and ERP tools. Occasional travel and on-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
• Project management or team lead experience (3 years preferred).
• Experience/exposure in the power generation field; hydro specific experience preferred.
• Demonstrated safe work habits and familiarity with OSHA standards.
• Familiarity with rigging, craning, confined space, work at height, and electrical best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support complex projects to facilitate major projects including scheduling and tracking.
• Coordinate unit outage planning with field Supervisor and energy production forecasting.
• Prepare specifications and fabrication sketches for replacement parts.
• Troubleshoot and analyze failures to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and outage readiness.
• Maintain project progress information, safety, scope, cost, schedule, and milestones.
