Qualifications

• Active PE license in Colorado or another state with Colorado licensure within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic design calculations, analysis and documentation for drainage of CDOT infrastructure.
• Document compliance with Colorado Drainage Law and review drainage designs with agencies and consultants.
• Prepare floodplain compliance and water quality documents to satisfy regulations.
• Review drainage designs with developers in public rights-of-way and provide comments.
• Support engineers with analyses and designs for road, bridge and culvert projects.
• Provide engineering judgement to resolve drainage problems encountered by maintenance forces.
• Assist in developing strategic plans for Region 4 and other regions.
