Job summary

The role includes on-site and customer-site service calls to troubleshoot complex hydraulic and electrical systems. You will read hydraulic and electrical schematics, estimate time and materials, and use calipers, pneumatic and power tools, and overhead crane operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Estimate time and materials for requested work.
• Ability to move/transfer products with overhead crane.
• Use of basic hand tools.
• Use of pneumatic and power tools.
• Use of calipers and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hydraulic systems and components sent for repair.
• Diagnose problems using hydraulic/electrical schematics where applicable.
• Provide detailed failure analysis with photos.
• List components and services needed to complete repair.
• Prepare components for assembly (cleaning, lapping, polishing).
• Assemble components to factory specifications.
• Test repaired components to factory specs using test stands and gauges.
• Provide test data in sheets/graphs.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
