Atlas Copco in LaPorte, TX is seeking a Repair Technician to test, repair and calibrate rental tools, and to handle shipping and receiving of rental orders from our LaPorte facility. You will inspect hydraulic torque tools, pumps and pneumatic equipment, generate repair reports, and validate tool performance to ISO and ASME specs.

Qualifications

• Experience using or testing hydraulic torque tools.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic tool issues.
• Experience using or testing hydraulic pumps.
• Basic understanding of tool crib/rental fleet functions.
• Must have computer skills including Microsoft Windows based programs.
• Good communications skills both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of threaded fasteners and bolted joints preferred.
• Self-motivated to achieve targets and goals.
• Ability to drive a forklift, training provided.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic torque tools, tensioning tools, and hydraulic pumps and accessories.
• Create detailed repair breakdowns and service reports on work orders for rental fleet tools.
• Perform tool validation and calibration of rental fleet to ISO & ASME specs.
• Drive forklift to load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Perform other tasks as assigned and maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant workspace.
