HYTORC is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic tools in the Detroit area. You will travel within your territory, perform repairs, calibrations, and provide technical consultation to customers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience, strong communication and organizational skills, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical/technical experience.
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
• Experience with a proven track record in customer satisfaction.
• Excellent technical, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• A safe, preferably covered, space at or near your home to keep the van overnight.
• Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsabilités

• Travel throughout your territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit and perform repairs and calibrations.
• Address customer needs with troubleshooting and maintenance of tools, pumps and equipment.
• Adhere to company processes, safety standards and schedules; perform scheduled repairs and calibrations.
• Provide reporting to Branch Manager on schedule updates, tasks, market information and activity reports.
• Work with service team, engineers and customers to meet daily repair requirements.
• Strive to meet goals and KPIs as directed by Branch Manager.
• Assist in growing sales and service opportunities for territory managers.
• Check tools for safety decals and maintain inventory records.
• Train customers on tool operation and maintenance.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service in daily activities.
