Job summary

HYTORC is seeking a skilled Tool Repair Technician in New Jersey to repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic tools, perform preventive maintenance, and support field service with precise documentation.

Applicants should have at least two years of hands-on repair experience, own basic tools, and strong safety awareness. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required, with good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools/equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and plan a logical approach.
• Must have and be able to use own set of basic tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work with hands in mechanically oriented situations.
• Dependable team player with high energy and commitment to quality.
• Must have clean and valid driver’s license.
• Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and calibrate tools, pumps and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic repair and preventive maintenance.
• Pretest hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools and links for proper form, fit and function.
• Troubleshoot, teardown, repair, reassemble and test pumps, motors and tools in shop.
• Collaborate with sales, service team, engineers and customers to meet repair needs.
• Check tools for safety decals and operating features; maintain maintenance records.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service through daily interactions and teamwork.
