Job summary

Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd is seeking a Repair Technician to test, repair, and calibrate rental stock tools at our LaPorte, TX facility. You will ship and receive rental orders, create detailed breakdowns, and prepare service reports for our fleet tools.

The role requires experience with hydraulic torque tools and hydraulic pumps, plus basic Windows computer skills. Forklift operation and OSHA-friendly practices are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Experience using or testing hydraulic torque tools.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic & pneumatic tool issues.
• Experience using or testing hydraulic pumps.
• Basic understanding of tool crib/rental fleet functions.
• MS Windows basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Test, repair and calibrate rental stock tools and accessories.
• Maintain and manage rental inventory and documentation.
• Ship and receive rental orders; create detailed repair breakdowns and service reports.
• Perform tool validation and calibration to ISO & ASME specs.
• Move items up to 75 lbs and operate a forklift as needed.

Are You Our Next Repair Technician?

As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for testing, repair and calibration rental stock tools as well as shipping and receiving of rental orders. This position is based out of our LaPorte, TX, facility.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Inspect, test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic torque tools, tensioning tools as well as hydraulic pumps and accessories.
• Maintain rental inventory.
• Pack, Ship & receive rental orders.
• Create detailed repair breakdowns and service reports on work orders for rental fleet tools.
• Perform tool validation and calibration of rental fleet, ISO & ASME specs.
• Lifting and moving of items up to 75lbs.
• Keep clean, safe working area and environment to OSHA and company standards.
• Drive forklift to load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

To Succeed, You Will Need

• Experience using or testing hydraulic torque tools.
• Experience with troubleshooting/ resolving hydraulic & Pneumatic tool issues.
• Experience using or testing hydraulic pumps
• Must have basic understanding of tool crib/rental fleet functions.
• Must have computer skills including Microsoft Windows based programs.
• Good communications skills both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of threaded fasteners and bolted joints preferred.
• Self-motivated to achieve targets and goals.
• Ability to drive a forklift, training also can be provided.
