The Hydraulic Structures Engineer will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and work on challenging water resources projects, including flood control and dam-related facilities, with partial remote work schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering.
Professional engineering (PE) license.
10 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Analyze and design hydraulic structures for flood control, hydroelectric, and related water projects.
Lead project teams of structural engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for proposals.
Forecast workload and manage project schedules.
Prepare contract documents including drawings, specifications, cost estimates and bid docs.
Perform engineering services during construction and review submittals.
Conduct inspections and prepare reports on existing structures.
Present technical results to clients and review boards.
Manage budgets and monitor project performance.
Support business development, recruiting, and mentoring junior staff.
