Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Shop Technician in Lake Charles to diagnose and repair complex machine systems, leveraging live data from hundreds of models. You will generate work orders, monitor service intervals, and ensure accurate digital records daily.

Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics, and excellent communication and teamwork are essential. A high school diploma is required, with trade training preferred, and OSHA familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

You open T3, prioritize work orders, and pull live diagnostics from a mix of aerial lifts and heavy equipment. By 9 AM, you’ve isolated a hydraulic fault, ordered parts, and documented the plan—before rolling into an electrical repair across the bay. That’s a typical day as a Shop Technician at EquipmentShare.Work hours are steady—Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM—with overtime after 40 hours.
