Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a heavy equipment technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on our latest fleet. The role involves field and shop work, plus occasional travel to customer sites, with duties including documenting work orders in the T3 system and assisting with equipment deliveries.

You will work with industry-leading diagnostic tools, receive year-round OEM training, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing heavy equipment, aerial lifts, or diesel systems.
• Own tools applicable to the position.
• Able to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical diagnostics.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license; 21+ to operate company vehicles.
• Trade school certificate or OEM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on equipment.
• Read schematics and use diagnostic software to isolate faults.
• Document work orders daily in the T3 platform (laptop/tablet).
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Mentor junior technicians.
