EquipmentShare in Hubbard, TX is seeking a Field Technician (Mechanic) to maintain and repair a range of Pump, Power & HVAC equipment. You’ll travel to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, tool ownership, and experience with generators or HVAC gear; EPA 608 preferred. Valid license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Experience reading schematics.
• EPA 608 certification preferred; ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Valid driver’s license; 21+ years old; OSHA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and customer locations; perform repairs.
• Travel to customer sites to service equipment as needed.
• Set up and operate equipment at shop and on sites; collaborate with teammates.
• Assist in training lower level technicians.
• Maintain paperwork and electronic work orders daily.
• Assist with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements and company policies.

(This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided)**Pay Range: **$25/hr - $60/hr based on experiencePrimary ResponsibilitiesAs a field technician, you’ll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models.
