Job summary

Faro Health Inc. is seeking a Workplace and Operations Specialist in San Diego to keep the office running smoothly and to design engaging programs for employees. The role emphasizes using AI and automation to streamline recurring work, while maintaining a welcoming, well-organized environment and strong cross-team collaboration.

You will own onboarding, office operations, and events, spending most weeks in the San Diego office with flexibility based on business needs. Hybrid work supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in workplace or office operations.
• Experience independently owning workplace operations, events, vendors, employee programs, or other operational processes from planning through execution.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with a track record of anticipating needs and keeping pieces from falling through the cracks.
• A systems mindset to make recurring work simpler, more reliable, and less manual.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day experience of working from Faro’s San Diego office, ensuring the workplace is organized, welcoming, safe, well-stocked, and ready for the day.
• Manage facilities, property management, vendors, supplies, mail, building access, workspace setups, visitors, and workplace needs.
• Create events and employee programs from idea through execution (All Hands, Lunch & Learns, off-sites, swag).
• Oversee onboarding operations from offer acceptance through the first week, coordinating managers, IT, People, equipment, access, and communications.
• Coordinate employee transitions and access across People, IT and managers.
• Identify friction and build simpler, automated processes across the workplace.
