Job summary

MovePlan is seeking a Workplace Occupancy & Space Planner to join on-site in Gaithersburg/Rockville, MD, with occasional work-from-home. You’ll manage occupancy data, perform analyses, and support space planning across a multi-building campus for a pharmaceutical client.

Travel between buildings and occasional after-hours work may occur. You will lead occupancy reporting, dashboards, and scenario planning, collaborating with facilities, HR, IT, and vendor teams to deliver actionable insights and

Qualifications

• Occupancy planning and space planning in corporate real estate or facilities.
• Experience turning data into actionable workplace insights.
• Ability to develop dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with CAFM/IWMS platforms.
• Strong data governance and field verification.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Project coordination across multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain occupancy data and headcount, space allocations.
• Analyze supply-and-demand models and forecast demand.
• Prepare occupancy reports and dashboards in Excel/Power BI.
• Monitor space utilization and occupancy trends.
• Support scenario planning and restacking options.
• Develop block and stack planning and space allocation concepts.
• Coordinate headcount forecasts and data quality.
• Support CAFM/IWMS administration and data governance.
• Assist with field verification and move coordination.
• Engage stakeholders and manage project documentation.
