Job summary

MovePlan is seeking a Workplace Occupancy & Space Planner to join our on-site team at client locations in Maryland, with occasional remote work. You will manage occupancy data, develop space planning insights, and support occupancy strategies across a multi-building campus.

Ideal candidates bring occupancy planning experience, strong data analytics, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI, plus CAFM/IWMS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Occupancy planning and space planning experience.
• Strong data analytics with complex datasets.
• Experience with occupancy reporting and dashboards.
• Headcount forecasting and demand modeling.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Familiarity with CAFM/IWMS systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination.
• Project coordination experience in facilities/real estate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain occupancy data and space allocations.
• Analyze supply-and-demand models and forecast demand.
• Create occupancy reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI.
• Monitor space utilization and trends.
• Develop block and stack plans and scenarios.
• Coordinate headcount forecasts and data validation.
• Support CAFM/IWMS administration and data governance.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate moves.
• Perform field verification and data quality checks.
• Assist with project administration and move management.
