Qualifications

• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation benefits, requirements, policies and procedures.
• Understanding of California Labor Code and Education Code related to workers’ compensation.
• Familiarity with rules and regulations of local and federal workers’ compensation.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation terminology.
• Experience with record keeping and records management.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical clerical duties to support the Workers’ Compensation Unit.
• Process workers’ compensation claims and maintain records of injuries reported.
• Participate in examinations or selection processes as required.
