Job summary

Opti Staffing seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Professional in Anchorage, AK. Hybrid/remote flexibility is available for the right candidate. You will manage the full claims lifecycle, coordinate with physicians, employers, employees, carriers, and regulators, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.

Ideal candidates have claims handling experience, strong customer service, and attention to detail. Alaska regulations knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in claims handling or insurance.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers’ compensation claims throughout the full lifecycle.
• Investigate claims and determine compensability.
• Communicate with physicians, employers, employees, carriers, and other involved parties.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and records.
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with Alaska workers’ compensation regulations.
• Provide excellent client service and ongoing support throughout the claims process.
• Utilize claims management software and maintain organized case files.
