Job summary

Lawley Insurance in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Advocate due to internal promotion. You will serve as liaison between the agency, carriers and clients, manage new claims, and assist throughout the claims process with minimal supervision.

The role requires a NYS workers’ compensation lost time adjuster background (5+ years) and an adjuster license preferred. Hybrid/remote flexibility and generous PTO support work-life balance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience as a NYS workers’ compensation lost time adjuster.
• Experience handling CT, PA, FL and NJ workers’ compensation LT claims is a plus.
• Adjuster license preferred (NY and other states).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the agency, carriers and clients maintaining effective relationships.
• First point of contact for new claims with courteous assistance throughout the process.
• Conduct claim reviews and follow up on open diaries for proper handling and reserving.
