Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to investigate complex and high‑risk injury claims, consulting with police, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident to determine coverage, liability, and total claim value.

This hybrid role requires reporting to the office about four days per month for meetings and coaching, with the option for more in-office work. Candidates must live within 40 miles of the Anchorage, AK or Honolulu, HI offices.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling, OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor's degree, OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims.
• Consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Determine coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
