Job summary

Opti Staffing in Anchorage, AK seeks a licensed insurance agent to join a growing independent agency team. You will build and maintain client relationships while quoting, binding, and servicing personal and commercial lines policies in a remote/hybrid setup.

The role demands friendly, detail-oriented professionals comfortable in a high-volume environment, with responsibilities including cross-selling, endorsements, renewals, and explaining coverage clearly.

Qualifications

• Active Alaska Property & Casualty License
• 3–5 years personal lines experience, independent agency experience preferred
• Experience quoting across multiple carriers and cross-selling

Responsibilities

• Quote and bind personal lines policies across multiple carriers
• Handle endorsements, rewrites, remarketing, and policy renewals
• Manage high-volume client calls with a friendly, professional approach
• Cross-sell home, auto, umbrella, and recreational insurance products
• Explain coverage differences clearly to clients
• Read and interpret declarations pages and underwriting requirements
• Sell and service life, vehicle, and property/business insurance
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system
• Build and grow a book of business through referrals and retention
• Stay current on carrier guidelines and state regulations
