Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services seeks a Workers’ Compensation Administrator to oversee claims and ensure policy compliance. You will coordinate with leadership, HR, employees, a third-party administrator, and counsel to manage cases and related leave options.

Qualifications

• Experience applying workers’ compensation regulations and policies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in written and oral communications.
• Experience with OSHA 300 and 300A logs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer workers’ compensation claims for assigned facility or program.
• Provide expert consultation and interpretation of policies; coordinate with TPA and legal counsel.
• Maintain accurate records in IHRPS and Workday; communicate claim status and leave options.
