Job summary

Taurean is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist in Washington, DC to manage Windows-based infrastructure, perform patching, and support a hybrid work model with on-site and remote components.

The role requires 5 years of IT experience, hands-on Windows Server 2022 (hybrid/Azure), AD/GP, server virtualization, and SCCM/MECM, with eligibility for a High-Risk Public Trust clearance. Travel to remote sites is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of IT experience.
• Hands-on with Windows Server 2022 (hybrid/Azure) and AD/GP.
• Experience with server virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware) and patch/vulnerability management via SCCM/MECM.

Responsibilities

• Perform account management and troubleshoot workstations and servers in both virtual and physical environments.
• Install hardware and software and configure operating systems.
• Perform patch and vulnerability management.
• Configure and troubleshoot workstation peripherals.
• Travel to remote BOP/FPI locations - Central Office, FCC Butner (NC), FCC Allenwood (PA), FCC Victorville (CA) - as required.
