This W2 contract role offers 12 months with potential renewal and a chance to grow into a more advanced systems administration career path. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of Windows Server experience (2016, 2019 or later), hands-on patching, and a basic understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Windows Server experience (2016, 2019, or later).
• Hands-on patching, updates, and service packs in enterprise environments.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with server monitoring tools and remote management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and change management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching of Windows Server systems.
• Assist in server provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Collaborate with senior admins to maintain availability, reliability, and security.
• Document processes, configurations, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in off-hours maintenance windows or on-call rotation.
