Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Operations Supervisor - Final Mile in Lumberton, NC. The role leads warehouse operations focusing on inventory integrity, order fulfillment, and goods movement in and out of the distribution center.

The supervisor will establish procedures, ensure equipment and facility maintenance, coordinate with other functions, and partner with customers to maintain high satisfaction while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Lean certifications preferred.
• Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business material.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads operational procedures for warehouse activities.
• Ensures inventory accuracy and proper handling of materials.
• Maintains condition of warehouse and equipment; coordinates repairs.
• Coordinates with customer service and sales for aligned operations.
• Partners with customers to maintain satisfaction and address concerns.
• Ensures safety, sanitation, maintenance and security in the warehouse.
• Implements and maintains warehouse processes and KPIs for profitability.
• Oversees staffing, training, and development of employees.
• Manages budget and P&L for the operation.
