Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Operations Manager Final Mile to lead warehousing and distribution activities in a fast-paced environment. You will establish procedures, manage staff, and partner with customers to ensure satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with other departments, overseeing equipment and facility condition, and driving efficiency through KPIs and lean practices.

Qualifications

• WMS experience is required.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Lean certifications preferred.
• Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads operational procedures for verification of shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintains the physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
• Submits repair and replacement requests for equipment as needed.
• Coordinates warehouse activities with customer service and sales.
• Partners with customers to ensure high satisfaction and follow up on concerns.
• Ensures safe warehouse operations and compliance with standards.
