Oculus Group's San Francisco office seeks an Employment Litigation Associate focused on wage-and-hour matters. You will join a collaborative team representing local and national employers in complex workplace disputes, handling a mix of individual claims and wage-and-hour class actions.

The role offers direct client interaction, substantial case responsibility, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.
• Management-side employment litigation experience with wage-and-hour exposure.
• Experience with FEHA, agency complaints, wage-and-hour and related matters preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in employment litigation, including single-plaintiff and wage-and-hour class actions.
• Manage discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
• Work on FEHA and agency complaint matters and related employment issues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the process.
