Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Solutions Architect to join the Data Solution and Services Platform team in a hybrid role based in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA. The candidate will drive high-level architectural design, governance, and cross-functional collaboration within the financial services domain.

The role requires extensive banking domain experience and the ability to lead complex programs across multiple teams, while delivering scalable, compliant solutions in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of experience in solution architecture or related fields.
• Financial services/banking domain experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality architecture and design solutions compliant with bank policies.
• Lead architecture governance and design disciplines across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and infrastructure teams to drive solutions across platforms.
• Provide guidance to technology teams on cost, risk, and delivery timelines while leveraging enterprise assets.
• Own and drive architectural decisions in a group leadership role.
• Coordinate and synchronize architectural solutions across pods and platforms.
• Develop reusable architectural components within the technical roadmap.
