Job summary

BNY is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to drive delivery of high-quality architectural solutions and modernize platforms. The role emphasizes AI-assisted design and tight integration with development lifecycles across Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA.

You will define architecture principles, lead enterprise initiatives, and collaborate with senior management to promote governance, quality, and cost optimization while championing Be More for our Clients and Power our Culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 10–12 years in technology and architecture roles with securities/financial services background preferred.
• Proven experience with IaC, policy-as-code, CI/CD, and automated gates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality architectural solutions aligned with policy and governance.
• Strategize and contribute to enterprise initiatives on architectures, patterns and standards.
• Integrate architecture with SDLC, embedding patterns into epics and pipelines.
• Define architecture and design per established principles and standards.
• Identify organization-wide technology initiatives and justify resource needs.
• Plan and design solutions for complex technology environments and reuse.
• Champion AI-assisted design and pilot GenAI tools for design validation.
• Oversee architecture activities and influence roadmaps across platforms.
