Ottobock is seeking a hybrid Verification of Benefits & Prior Authorization Coordinator to support clinics in Pennsylvania and Maryland. You will handle verifications and prior authorizations for orthotic and prosthetic devices, coordinating with insurers and clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in medical billing, preferably orthotics/prosthetics/DMEs.
• Experience with HIPAA, Medicare and insurer portals.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations for orthotics/prosthetics codes.
• Communicate coverage requirements to patients and teams.
• Manage patient accounts and required documentation for authorizations.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and ongoing process improvements.
