Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced operations professional to oversee vendor relationships and ensure SLA-compliant performance. You will coordinate with client relationship teams, manage day-to-day vendor issues, and drive improvements in governance and contracting processes.

Ideal candidates have 5 years in vendor management or related fields, strong budgeting skills, and comfort operating in a matrixed organization. The role is hybrid with on-site Pittsburgh presence and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years of relevant work experience.
• 5 years in Vendor Management, Vendor Operations, Financial Reporting or Budget Management.
• Experience in and ability to thrive in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of external vendors and manage quality; coordinate with client relationship team.
• Handle day-to-day operational issues; respond to high priority vendor requests; recommend process improvements.
• Represent and champion operational needs within governance; escalate to lead when necessary.
• Coach and develop peers and vendor staff; manage vendor performance and productivity.
• Monitor contracts with vendors; work with procurement on contract development and renewal; ensure documentation of compliance.
• Manage invoice accuracy, payment, and budget reporting; ensure PO creation aligns with AP guidelines.
• Assist in creating vendor strategy; lead operating model changes for vendor interactions.
• Other responsibilities as required.
